At Inbalance PT we treat a variety of conditions. As we continue to grow we will be adding additional services. Currently we offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, and aquatic therapy. We are also adding speech therapy very soon!
We use a hands on approach using manual therapy techniques including lumbar and cervical traction as well as joint and soft tissue mobilizations. To assist in your rehab, we incorporate equipment such as upright bicycles, recumbent bikes, elliptical, treadmill, arm bicycles, Nu-Step, parallel bars, stairs, shuttles, resistance machines and various other rehabilitation interventions. We create custom Home Exercise Programs with a printout for you that is easy to read and understand that you take home on your first visit. In addition, if you would like we can email you your custom color Home Exercise Program that also includes video demonstrations of the exercises. Many of our treatments are complimented with ultrasound, electrical stimulation, paraffin and hot or cold treatments. More recently we have added cupping, dry needling, and ISTYM. We also provide cold laser treatments with ML830 cold laser.

The indoor pool at Inbalance Physical Therapy ranges from 4 feet to 6 feet deep. The pool has been specifically designed for optimal use in rehabilitation and has shorter steps, hand rails and a chair lift. The temperature of the pool ranges from 85 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The pool also features a 2 level seated section with jets to massage the back as well as a resisted power jet swimming section. We have private changing areas, showers and lockers.
Aquatic therapy relies on the properties of water to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment through the use of hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, and joint unloading. Water is an ideal location for teaching movement because it demands internal stabilization of the spine and pelvis. Water has the ability to assist, support, or resist movements and allows for both non-weight bearing and partial-weight bearing therapy. By using buoyancy equipment, the patient can be suspended in water without touching the bottom of the pool. This allows the patient to move freely and removes impact on the musculoskeletal system.
Why Aquatic Physical Therapy:
– Improves balance, coordination, flexibility and mobility
– Great for non or partial weight bearing
– Improve balance, strength, endurance, coordination
– Pre and post-op surgery – hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, backs
– Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis
– Neurological conditions – reduction of tone and muscle spasms
– Reduces chronic pain related to skeletal and soft tissue – including spine and joints
